If LSU called he would be on the first bus out of there.

I prefer our coach. He's actually won on the highest level and he's less angsty. If I had to pick a coach who hasn't won anything, I'd probably go with Cliff Godwin or Mangione.

So due to Covid, he had a loaded team on top of Skenes.

Who got Skenes to LSU?

Congrats on having the best coach ever at Tennessee.

You know how long it took Skip Bertman to win his 1st national title at LSU? 8 years! Iteo and Skip had the same amount of CWS appearances in their first 5 years as HC also. While you keep brining up titles, you don’t mention he’s one of the youngest coach in the SEC. Bertman was like 53 or 54 when he won his 1st title at LSU. Vitello still has time!

So now we are comparing him to Skip? Does that mean Dan Lanning is on par with Saban? He’s had some success and is much younger than Saban when he won his first nattie at LSU.

That's the same big question with Geno Auriemma. Then everyone remembers we're just talking about women's basketball and quickly moves on.

well he doesn’t have a national title like Bianco, Johnson and Corbin

And he hasn’t been coaching near as long and isn’t even as old as the rest of them. I can argue he is on track and even ahead of those you named at the same point in his career as those where then.

Glad to see Tony was thinking about his daddy “Dave The Van Horn” after the game last night.

When Dave retires if we want Tony he comes. You can only do so much to your little ball park. It will never come close to matching the top facilities in the SEC

Why in the world would he leave Tennessee when they are literally about to name the field after him?

That’s more of an indictment on how absolutely terrible your program is, than it is a statement of Vitello’s coaching ability.
