Its just a joke. Low hanging fruit...relax. Besides, I didn't say they were all Hawgs. Had a great time haning with the Arki Cheerleaders at an SEC basketball tourney in the early 2000s in New Orleans. Hell, even the chick that wore the Hogs mascot costume was cute.

There likely are golden eagles living in Lee County, but I highly doubt they nest on campus.

Random-arse alligator hanging out in a swamp =/= "mascot", unless you go and fetch the same one out every game day and parade him around in front of the crowd.
