They dropped the “State” 20 years ago. It’s Troy University. And Jax State is not nearby

They are pretty much average. By no means a walk over but they are not near the top level.

USA was regarded as a national power for decades and was one of the 20 winning programs of all time. Recent down years but still regarded as the best program to never get to the CWS. I believe they were one win from the college World Series on five different occasions.
