It's more than opinion. There's facts, stats to back it up. There's film to back up the line he was running behind also, and carries others had the same years he played, versus what backs do since then. His Heisman year, isn't as good as many other backs who didn't win the Heisman in their best years. He had less yards and TD's his Heisman year than even Ingram in his Heisman year with only 21 touches of the ball difference in those years.

I agree with what you're saying.

Who would you take between Bo, Herschel, or McFadden?

I don't think there's any answer that's better than the other.

What made Bo special was that he also went out and dominated baseball. And then he performed on the track.

And he punted a football so high it hit the scoreboard in the Superdome.

Bo is a legend because of the mystical qualities he carries. If someone told you Bo could jump so high it'd look like he was flying, you'd think twice before saying "No way."

As for Trent Richardson, he's not the second coming of Bo. But he definitely has the tools to become part of the elite group of running backs in SEC history.

But so have lots of guys whose names we've all forgotten.

so are you saying he isn't a good athlete?

I should have said "one of a kind". Damn good athlete but I will wait to see it on the field and not just his insane bench pressing.

Yes we all know Bo was a half arse running back

Never said that.

And yes I did watch him play which is how I know your full of crap.

I saw him too. Seen alot since him also. There's been as good or better than him in the last 30 yrs on the college level, in the SEC. You offer opinion, I do also, but I can also offer stats to back up my opinion.

Basically Auburn fans will not recognize a good Alabama player ever....because of their hatred for the program.

Hell, Trent could rush for 2000 yards next season and they will point out something wrong with it.

You couldn't be more wrong. There's a reason the OP is comparing Trent to Bo.. I'll let you figure that one out.

He played 11 yrs before you were born. I'd bet you never saw more than a couple minutes of clips and listened to Au fan after Au fan praise his name. You never offer anything to back up your claim, only unintelligible blabber.

I saw Trent in HS. I thought he would be better than Emmitt.

Both of those for sure.

Absolutely. He was a freak of an overall athlete, and McFadden or Herschel wouldn't have been able to do other things Bo did. I never have questioned or tried to lessen his status as probably the best athlete to come through the conference. I don't know if anyone else will come through that could do all he did. Like I said, he was easily a top ten RB in the SEC's history, just not the best.

Totally agree with this also. I think he'll make a name for himself and not be in anyone's shadow, but he's a different back in a different time.

Ware can. Not everyone can be like Ware though. Could bo do a standing backflip in football pads?

Easily, hell I think Auburns 300 pound RB this year has done that.
