Is Todd Gurley still the Hesiman front runner?

Todd Gurley leads the SEC in:
1 Rushing yards - 773
2 Yards per game - 154.3
3 Average per attempt - 8.22
4 TDs - 9
5 Hurdled defenders - 2
And in only 5 games (one of which he only played one series, against Troy)
Or is Dak Vader making a case?

Dak and it's not that close right now

Figured we'd wait for some folks to get out of church and rehash the question

Of course, why wouldn't he be? It was mariota/gurley for a few weeks now and mariota just took a hit.
Dak will climb the charts and (at this point) will probably get an invite to new york. But frontrunner? Heck no. It's clearly gurley at this point.

It's Dak's to lose at this moment.

Dak is at the top right now...Gotta be. Gurley right behind him.
MArshall and Petty will make some noise though, too.

frick no...nobody respects the SEC East and the opponents Gurley is facing.

This is what I believe, minus some hungover early morning trolling.
If Dak has a sensational year and the unthinkable happens he'll pass Gurley, but that's the only way.

I think Prescott is at the top of the list!

Dak and Gurley lead IMO. Marshall threw himself back in the dark horse spot with the game against LSU. He'll have to keep that up though to stay in the convo.

Seems like this year's race is going to favor the career guys (Mariotta, Gurley, Abdullah). I think Dak will have to amass some stats this year and enter next year as the favorite.

Coker is a lock. If he ever starts a game, it's all over.

he's making some serious noise, no denying that.
I just don't think he's #1 right now. But he's steadily climbing. Gurley has been at the top since the season opener and hasn't done anything to relinquish it.

Ask this again Saturday night. I'll give you the answer.

Gurley is a lot more known nationally, despite Dak's success the last few weeks. That, and Gurley hasn't let off the gas even a little bit.

That's ridiculous

Todd Gurley is the only correct choice.
