You may not have noticed but the landscape has changed since Urban Cryer and SOS.
This is not the same conference. Four different SEC teams have won National Titles since 2008. We added two traditional powers in UT and OU.
The conference was weaker in the 90s and Tennessee’s decline started in 2008.
There’s more parity. There’s a 9 game conference schedule and divisions are gone.
The Gators can get their act together and be a player but no one is going to dominate the SEC.

Very good points
Though I will say Sumrall does feel like he is bringing something intangible that those coaches didn’t , he hasn’t proven himself yet and could end up like those 3
Also this really goes to show how dog shite Mullen and Gaypier were from the start
