Is there SEC Conference Pride when it comes to basketball?

I'm sure most would root for a team like Vandy in the Big Dance. What about schools that have already been there? (ie: Florida & Kentucky)

I pull for all(Bama included) conference teams in the tourney. I do not do the same during bowl season.

I'll root for other SEC teams but only because the conference sucks so much. Any ooc win helps RPI

If the SEC is ever in a position where playing the conference opponents could positively impact the schedule more than playing 20 games against St. Mary of the Meek University, I'd have a conference pride mindset.
Football, the teams are all stout and the gauntlet helps your school even if it hurts the record. That makes sense.
In SEC Basketball a loss is a loss and a win generally doesn't mean shite. Thank goodness we're not having to worry about wins meaning nothing much.

I do. I root for all the SEC teams in the Tourney. I do the same in bowl season.

Always pull for all SEC teams (except bama) in the tourney.
Bama, sorta don't care one way or the other if they win in hoops.

I pick and choose. I usually root for any SEC team to beat a higher seed. Other than that it is on a game by game basis.

Sans one or two, I'll usually root for SEC teams in the tournament. It applies to all if they're playing Louisville.

I don't root for ANY SEC school in any sport. I pull for my team and that's it. I think the whole "SEC" chant and conference pride is a bunch of shite. Do the Red Sox chant "AL" when the Yankees are in the World Series... You decide.

I mostly feel the same way as this.
However I'll cheer for some of y'all if your this years Cinderella story, like Florida Gulf Coast and Witcha State last year.

We won't be. But if for some reason we do pull wins out of our arse and make it to the Tourney, we'll need all the support we could get. We know the UGA nation won't support them. We're a football school remember...

I certainly cheer for SEC teams over others.
As strange as it sounds, I even grew up cheering UK basketball and UT football because I'm a border-kid. My dad and his family were from Kentucky while my mom and her family are from Tennessee and so it made sense to me to cheer for both. I even have a soft spot for UK football because of my Mammaw who was a diehard Cats fan til the day she died.
UK basketball is harder to cheer for now that Cal is there and I definitely don't cheer for them when we play but even with Cal there, I'm SEC all the way.
