False. He's getting the same amount he signed his contract for but instead, he's getting a million of it much sooner.

Then why not wait until the final year of the contract to reduce it or spread it over 108 months instead of 12? Because your university is poor.
That’s why you had to beg one rich lawyer to pony up for Boutte to stay last year. He refused to come to the rescue this year though.

Once again I’ll ask you if Alabama(or any team except for LSU) overpaid Saban by 1 million dollars and we’re currently in contract negotiations to increase his salary by 2 million per year would they ask him to take a pay reduction of 1 million for that year?

Yes, he's a state employee and that money has to be accounted for, regardless of any future contract negotiations.

Why would you do any of those things?

A very small amount of the salary is paid by the school. The rest, at most universities, is paid by a booster club. So no you don’t have to recoup it.

Imagine thinking this is true. What a dullard.

Only 400k of BK’s salary is paid by the State of Louisiana. That’s why Foster Campbell couldn’t do anything but complain about his overall salary.

Louisiana politician complains about Kelly while University buildings are falling apart.

Kelly’s contract breakdown.

It was explained to you earlier in this thread that the actual financial amount doesn't matter.

You are obviously a fricking idiot so I’m done answering your question. I’ve given you responses, links and examples for everything I’ve said. You can deflect to someone else.

Nothing you've said in this thread makes any kind of logical business or financial sense.

Name one other time in recent history that this has happened. The State of Louisiana only has a day in 400k of the money paid to Kelly. Everything else is decided by the boosters. If any other SEC school overpaid their coach who just went to the SEC championship 1 million dollars the article would’ve read “Coach accidentally paid 1 mil over what was in his contract. School has labeled payment as a bonus.”

On one hand this idiot is saying the university is poor and can’t afford the coach (who is 5th highest paid in college football.)

On the other hand he has stated the university doesn’t pay his salary.

Not only that, he has a fundamental misunderstanding of public economics and the fact that public institutions are audited.

Find me one instance where a school accidentally overpaid a coach by 1,000,000 dollars.

A normal University would have called it a bonus after the overpayment was discovered and the coach was in his first year, had taken the team to the SEC championship game and won 10 games in a season which was considered a rebuilding year.
LSU has shown the world what a small petty organization it truly is.

The State only has a day in 400k of his salary. The boosters decided the school had to recoup the 1 million overpayment. That’s poor team shite.

I mean this is your opinion.

And we've seen your opinions turn out wrong over, and over, and over again.

Imagine trying to paint a million dollar "advance" as something that would anger the recipient.

No, they would not.

That’s not how any of this works.

LSU was audited by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, same as every other university (in their respective state).

The contract with Kelly, while largely funded by boosters, is a contract through the university, which is a public institution.

You can’t just retroactively provide a bonus because you made a mistake.
