Looking at his post history, he has to be an alter or an ull fan who shitposts lsu disguised as a bama fan. Either way, a total imbecile.

I actually think he is serious and believes all of this.

I hope I am wrong though.

Find me one instance where a school accidentally overpaid a coach by 1,000,000 dollars.

I can’t. This has never been recorded to happen before that I can find. I have a hard time believing that over the last 50 years 130+ teams have never made this error before. That means either LSU just made the dumbest error of the last 50 years or they are the only team that asked for the money back so it was reported. I tend to believe the latter. I can’t imagine the last 78k payrolls at every other university have all be paid perfectly.

I mean it's entirely possible. They're not exactly smart.

The boosters decided the school had to recoup the 1 million overpayment.

Because overpaying a public employee by $1M is a massive no no.

Are you retarded?

It wasn't reported because LSU is correcting the mistake.

It was reported because it was caught in a state audit.

It's entirely possible that there have been previous payment errors that didn't end up in state audits that were quietly corrected.

I mean what would be the alternative with the current situation he’s talking about? An error occurred, and both sides are working together to rectify the situation.

That’s true. Lol
The three in this thread are dumb enough to have made this kind of mistake.

Not sure.

I'd happily take that arrangement if my company wants to pay my salary for next year early.

Yes, we are the dumb ones.

Nevermind I deal with auditing on a regular basis and have a thorough understanding as to how this works.

I can’t emphasize enough, you are dead wrong on virtually every point you’ve made in this thread.

That is not an opinion.

I’m guessing every state funded entity would ask any employee to pay back an over payment you idiot.

He genuinely believes you can just tell (not even ask) the state auditor “our bad, we are just going to reclassify that as a bonus” and they’ll agree, high five, and go grab lunch together.

Yes it is. In the last 50 years the other 130+ programs have never reported an overpayment.

Is that really a stretch in Louisiana though?

I don’t know how else to tell you this. You can’t tell auditors what you are going to do.

It’s the other way around.

Read a book. Enroll in a class.
