I am going to predict that they actually exit the conference within the next 15 years and see to go the Notre Dame independent route.
Regardless of whatever happens down the road I look forward to beating them on the field in the meantime to shut them up along with all the folks here kissing their arse.

It is kind of sad to see all of these SEC fans tremble with fear that Texas and Oklahoma are coming in.
I've gotten tired of their mouthy asses telling the world that we can't compete in this conference.
We're about to roll you suns of b**ches like a Grizz on a bait barrel.

They have no choice. The SEC doesn't need them, and they know it. The SEC is Thor's Hammer, as far as college athletics is concerned. Texas came to the SEC and wanted in, the SEC didn't go to them.
Texas didn't want to be on the outside looking in when the Big XII folds, regardless of how superior they think they are.

Christ, at least win a CFP GAME before mouthing off.
OU and UTexas have shown they can NOT compete at the highest levels in the SEC, or have OU and UTexas won NC in football, basketball or baseball in the last 15 years?
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Mississippi St, LSU, USCe, and Kentucky all have title(s) in the last 15 years.

Aside from its over-inflated preseason rankings propped up by a network which sunk a substantial amount of $ into a failed tv venture to keep college from realigningin 2010, Texas has been a .500 football team in a weak conference.
They were dying on the vine with apathy and SEC threw them a lifeline. The same SEC they SWORE they would never join because they were academically, socially, and culturally superior to.
We’ll see.

Happy to have them! Great atheltic program with less than a medocre football program. They will fall in line immediately and will be focused heavily on digging themselves out of the pits of the SEC rankings. Until they actually compete as one of the better teams in the SEC, they are just another member and have very little leverage. Good news is...SEC is going to tell Texas what to do and who they will play...not the other way around. Personally, I think the institution of Texas made a huge mistake and will continue to suffer in medocrity for another 10 years. If they stayed in Big 12, they would be much more successful...even with Kansas in the same league.
Good luck Horns. You are gonna need it. You don't know what you have coming.

I've never believed that the Texas move was a very well thought-out endeavor on Texas' part. They'll have to bite a big bullet to ever get along with the fact that the SEC doesn't belong to them.
I suspect the alum will start squealing first.

We didn't have a choice. Based almost entirely on Nick Saban's success at Alabama, ESPN created the perception that the SEC was packed top to bottom with powerhouse programs. Even though the reality is that it's just as top heavy as any other conference, the perception filtered down to recruits and the perception became reality. It's clear that few of you want us here, but y'all created the situation that forced the move.

This is just more regurgitation of the aggy bullshite you've been swallowing for the last decade.

The real question is, which SEC team will leave that cancer first? Will it be Alabama?
Maybe we should ask Nebraska what they think?>>>>>>>>>
I don’t expect Alabama to go 1-9 vs Texas like Nebraska did.

Newsflash: the reality is we beat A&M at everything until they ran away crying for new daddies. And now they're beyond pissed that they have to play Texas again, and the SEC even recognized this, which is why their entire administration was left completely in the dark about the move

Ross Bjork's tears at media days last year might have provided the single most laughter in a college sports offseason I have ever seen
