I certainly didn't. I liked him as a player. seemed to be buttoned up and prepared but had so many wild throws.

I'm really glad my talents as a Scout were wrong for him.

If he hasn't missed the 2 games he could have won the MVP this season. The system and QB coaching at Philadephia has been amazing as well. The play-calling all season has been a pick-your-poison proposition. Meaning, they will throw the ball, any place on the field, any down, any quarter, any situation, or run it. Nick Sirianni is fearless and has to be fun to play for.

I've watched 3 years of Jalen in the pros and this season has been a revelation as far as execution and just putting it all together.

And guess what folks? Not being a 1st round pick he doesn't have to worry about a 5th-year option. Someone, very soon, is about to get paid.

No reason to think he couldn’t do it. He has a lot of intangibles and leadership qualities on top of his physical tools and skills.

I'm guessing more thought he would be a great NFL QB the year he was drafted than thought SBIV would win the Manning award, be a Heisman finalist and win four MVP playoff trophies and two national titles.

This threads not about you Alaba...I mean, Georgia.

Georgia fans have been hijacking threads and then when someone says something about their insecurities, their stock answer is that we are all obsessed with them!

I never thought he'd be more than an NFL backup. His passing at Bama was subpar. Congrats to him though. He was always a great dude, and a team player.

I thought he might be a tight end in the NFL. It's great to see him be successful because he does seem like a really decent person.

I thought he would struggle to start in the NFL. Nothing against him as I have always liked him. If Burrow doesn't win it all I'm rooting for the Eagles.

Jalen clearly had all the physical tools and the desire. He just needed time to develop. A special athlete and a special person.

If Trent Dilfer can do it, most anyone can.

He has integrity and that is something you don’t see much of anymore.

I did not think so. Like others, I thought he would be a solid backup. He's progressed a lot in the NFL. It can be hard to predict how college players will perform in the NFL. I thought Burrow would be "pretty good" in the NFL and take him a while to get better. I was wrong. And we remember JaMarcus Russell... yeah, that was a disaster.

Someone who really surprised me is Derrick Henry. I would definitely want that dude on my NFL team. I thought he was "ok" at Alabama.. the guy is a freak. I thought Trent Richardson would be great in the NFL, but he fizzled out quickly... I read he did not have "field vision" for the NFL.

There are players from small colleges/schools who tear it up in the NFL, and big time college talent who bust. It's a crap shoot quite a bit.

He also dragged Bama to victory in the 2018 SECCG when your precious Tua broke his glass ankle. He has the right stuff mentally to be an NFL QB and Lincoln Riley refined his technique.
