The LSU spring game was a horrible display of football and neither QB looked worth a crap, lobbing high soft ones, being sacked repeatedly, looking slow and weak armed... RBs looked pathetic. I know it was just spring, but if that was a indicator of LSU true ability, this could be a long season.

okay bud. We have two elite RBs that aren’t even on campus yet

A sidewalk Bama fan who doesn't follow recruiting? Not buying it.

He would not start at Bama but would play on special teams this year and a blowout garbage time verses teams like ls8u
You didn't watch Bama's secondary then. Probably because they were on the ground or left behind when the camera showed the WRs.

Yes, all the ones who actually have stats in SEC games.

Slow your roll, boy.

Stingley is a lot like Surtain. Freak athlete and a polished corner as an incoming freshman. They are both legit. I might also put Chris Steele (UF) and Tyrique Stevenson (UGA) in that category, too.

But in truth, the best corners in the league right now (at least going into the season) are Florida's CJ Henderson and Alabama's Trevon Diggs. Henderson could have gone pro this year if he wasn't a sophomore. Diggs got injured last season, so it will be interesting to see how he recovers. But he is very talented and a top-flight NFL prospect.

Clemson didn't pick on Surtain, though (#2). They mostly picked on the other DBs (Smith, Carter, Jobe and the safeties McKinney and Thompson).

Bama returns Surtain, who is awesome, and they get Diggs back from injury. Not sure who they will play at safety, but their secondary is already looking better than last year (unfortunately).

I liked what Diggs showed last year but I'm not quite sold on him as co-best in the conference. Really excited to see him back full speed this year, though.

The fact that you, an Alabama fan, watched the LSU spring game says it all.

How embarrassing.

I totally agree, but there are so many good corners who went pro this year, including Greedy and Baker, along with Dean (AU) and Johnson (UK). Somebody's gotta be the best one left.

Fulton will be excellent and I'm guessing the kid this thread is about will be really good.
