Bama is just as obsessed with LSU ATM.
It's the nation two best teams, in the same division, same conference, and it just so happens that your HC was our former HC.
Throw in that if either wants to get to Miami there is one main opstical in their way. Each other.

LSU has owned the SEC in the BCS era, otherwise known as modern-day college football.
Georgia came and went. Florida came and went. Tennessee came and went. Auburn came and went. Arkansas came and went.
The only constant in this conference in the last decade+ is LSU's dominance of it. It's only a matter of time before we'll be able to say that Alabama came and went.

I stopped at SEC Titles because it's the only title you win ON THE FIELD and aren't VOTED into. Every year( I mean every single yeAr) , after the BCSCG, the media asks if they got the teams right. The SEC champion is never questioned. Never. In 20 years people will look back at the 2011 season and say, " just another title Bama claims when they weren't even the best team in their division, let alone conference." it happens now with some of Bama's "titles".
