I mean when you consider all-time records, wins, bowl games, etc. we are in the top 10.

And the SWC. How many schools can say they have screwed up two conferences. If it had not been for the Aggies they would have screwed up (even worse than it is now) the PAC 12.
It takes real egotism to do that.
I don't know about the egotism, but you can tell who the bitches are by the ones who ran off and still whine about it.

Lol.. how many of the categories is LSU top 10, regardless of the merit towards the topic?
Conf Champs? No
All time wins? No
Winning %? No
You get my point
LSU is New Money & there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, ask a Nebraska fan.

Fair enough.

They also only have 3 Big XII titles
That's absolutely insane. I had to look it up as I didn't believe it.

Third in all time wins plus 4 natties. Blue Blood

OU owns us. Half the time or more we beat them, they still win the conference.
Posted on 2/21/20 at 11:52 am to MStant1
I’d rather be LSU than @ least three of the BB’s. Gates>Rockefeller all day long.. DGAF about what happened b4 I was alive.

They were also awful in the 80s and 90s
Their '83 team would won the NC had they not lost to UGA in the Cotton Bowl.
Loads of talent.Had 18 guys drafted the next spring.Still think it's a record.

quote:I mean when you play in weak conferences your win's/win% are going to be high. Texas basically had only to beat Oklahoma to win a conf champ. Say what you want, if Texas had been in the SEC, your wins/win% would be much lower.

You are only 9-8-1 against us, and we are going to bring that even later this year baw. How does it feel Mr. Blueblood, having such a poor showing against a lowly non-blueblood like LSU?
EDT: Against the traditional bluebloods LSU has been mostly competitive. Bama and Nebraska has owned us, but against the other 6 we are roughly even: Okla 2-1, Ohio St 1-1-1, USC 1-1, Texas 8-9-1, Notre Dame 5-7, Mich 0-0.

Texas is ( 3-8-1 ) all time versus Vanderbilt.
Posted on 2/21/20 at 12:07 pm to PurpleandGeauld
Texas is 7-1-1 against the greatest program of all time & as next post added.. 3-8-1 vs Vandy.
It's all relative to era.. go back to Texas' record vs the SEC overall over the years & "if you weren't playing in a week conference" rhetoric becomes laughable.
Problem is most posters aren't familiar with CFB history, data analysis or are just plain dumb.

National Champions. Very objective.
Only for about the last 20 years, and even then there has been controversy (2003).

LSU has a winning record against every team in the big12 except our 8-9-1 record to you. Guess we would have won a bunch more conf champs if we were over there...

Does Texas ever plan on getting that win back from Kirksville Osteopath?

there has been controversy (2003).

Broadway crossed the goal line in the OB, your QB touched the sideline in the Cotton Bowl, and but, but, but my Colt McCoy! RTR
