Is Texas A&M going to be good?

Went 9-4 last year after smoking NC St in their bowl game. Beat LSU and played Clemson very tough.
Return their QB and a lot of playmakers on offense. Did see some significant losses in their front 7.
What say you Rant? Can they compete for the West?

According to aggy Nick Saban is deathly afraid of Jimbo and has identified them as their biggest threat.

I think they'll finish #2 in the West. Excluding Saban, they have the next best coach in the SEC

They finished ahead of LSU in the West last year but apparently we’re supposed to think Ed Orgeron has a contender while National Champion Jimbo Fisher has a band of scrubs at his disposal.

Well be solid. Schedule is rough. We should win 8-9 games in the regular season and finish 2nd or 3rd in the west.

More of the same mediocrity from the Ags. Four or five losses. Year 3 will be when they start wondering if they were better off keeping Sumlin at a much cheaper price to get the same results.

The people in this thread thinking they will finish ahead of LSU in the West this year are living in complete delusion.

I think they will be better than last year but still might have the same record.
I think they will lose to Alabama, Clemson LSU and GA.

Because they play LSU in Death Valley this year and also play Alabama and UGA. That’s 3 losses in the SEC this year just right there. LSU might have 2 SEC losses.
