No.
They are not capable of winning a national title this year.
They fall below the 50% line for the blue chip ratio. They simply don't have the talent.
They are close though. If they had one more blue chip player they'd be there.

Tenn isn't better than Georgia, Ole Miss, nor Ohio State. I doubt their better than Bama tbh but Tenn is definitely a top 10 team whom I expect to make the playoffs

Tennessee is THE most overrated team in the nation, thats for damn sure.
They go from mediocre every year to beat in the country, all because of the QB? A QB who has played against bad competition and teams that have terrible defenses, and the only P5 team they played, Nico had multiple interceptions.
Just wait until Tennessee plays teams that DO play defense.
Knee jerk Tennessee fans think they are great after beating up on these little minor conferences teams, and are in for a surprise when defenses from big boy teams get in the backfield and can run Nico down and hit him multiple times. He'll be another Hendon Hooker, and Tennessee will wind up mediocre like they always do. Gimmick offenses don't work when the other team has as much or more talent and ability that you do.

Beating OU simply means we've beaten two top 25 teams. beating OU simply means we're taking another step towards a playoff.
LOSING to OU would, however, have an impact on whether or not we're the best team in the nation. WINNING vs them?
