I simply can not believe someone is dumb enough to question his approach. Spoiled much?

Also, he's not telling anyone they suck. He's telling the kids to focus and keep they're head in the game. Do their job, process, etc. the same shite he always says.

You and that Dore fan, that pretends to be an Alabama fan, should team up since you both want him gone.

He's the best coach in football and should be paid 7-8 million a year. His teams have also vastly underperformed following a national title.

He is not trying to convince them that they are no good. Saban is aware that what you did yesterday has nothing to do with what you need to do to be successful in the future.

What if a surgeon did a half arse surgery in the morning because the one he did today went so well? That type of performance is failure. In order to be a champion you have to do what is in front of you every day and you can not allow yourself to live in what you have done in the past.

I think the word vastly in that sentence is ridiculous if youre referring to 2010. The other bro is right, you sound spoiled.

2009 UF is the only defending champ with a better record during the streak. You can't win 'em all, man.

You can also use past success as a major confidence booster and motivator. Sometimes the greatest motivator is having a taste of success and never wanting to give it back. The greatest dynasties I know were full of players who knew they were great, loved the thrill of being on top and refused to let anyone else take what was theirs. And the coaches reinforced this attitude.

We looked good Saturday, but I fear that our team will eventually start to look like past letdown teams who played scared and joyless from the lack of motivation.
I wonder sometimes if his sourpuss attitude sucks the joy out of the game and affects morale for the players. I think there's some truth to what your saying as unpopular as it might be.

I wonder how many other teams and their fans would literally bust a nut if they won 10 games.

Talking about a team that won double digits and saying they "vastly underperformed" is just crazy talk.

His approach to winning a national title is superb. His approach to repeating a national title has so far been unsuccessful.

Ok and now you're just talking out of your arse to support your argument.

Yeah, letting players believe they're "great" just by showing up and that the preparation isn't what it's all about is probably the way to go.

Convincing 18-22 year old kids coming off 2 national titles in 3 years that they are no good, have won nothing, are not the same team, etc is completely impossible in my opinion.

You really think he tells Lacy, McCarron, B. Jones, Nico, Moseley, Milliner, etc. that they are no good? You're aware that he stated in a press conference that AJ had a great spring, great summer, great fall camp, etc.? He also stated that Barret Jones is one of the best humans he's every coached?

Since you're aware of that I'm not sure why you started this thread.

I predict that Saban will go insane as he gets older.
