Apologies if someone has linked this elsewhere, but I feel this is appropriate for this thread.

Oh wow...didn't know any other Bama fans on this site lived here. Hoping to move out of Wichita to Derby myself.

They have some work to do to replace losses after this past year. Most people here feel they are doing well recruiting though, and they definitely made a splash this past year by making it to the final 4. With their best player, Early, coming back I expect them to do continue to do well.

I approve of this. I'll be at the away game in 2014!

Good post. I agree.

Don't bother trying to talk football sense into people like that. It is just wasted effort.

quote:Your welcome, but I also disagree with this. It didn't get much more vanilla that McElwain's offense. For instance, going into the BCS game 2011/2012 I'm pretty sure we averaged about 10 pts a game under LSU. Jordan Jefferson was just that good lol. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong on this I'm sure.
That is my point. In the past 4 or 5 years, Bama has had far superior offensive coordinators than LSU, but they don't now. The homerism on the RANT is very stifling at times.
Thanks for you straight forward opinon.

No one is afraid of anything on the internet dude. Perhaps I'm wrong about that. There are some people that are afraid of putting the correct team allegiance beside their name. But I'm getting off track I suppose.
I'll humor you...
I consider Chavis and Smart to be about equal in most ways.
I don't know enough about Cameron to say, but I've wondered if he got a raw deal in Baltimore, and I believe he will do alright for himself at LSU.
I was, like a lot of Bama fans, somewhat disgruntled about the Nuss's playcalling at times.
But I'm not paid millions to make those decisions and my feelings are for sure clouded by hindsight. He did very well for us last year and I expect nothing less from him this year.
I call it a virtual wash in terms of coordinators. At least until we see what sort of product Cameron delivers.

LOL ok we will just ignore everybody but the coordinators then since that seems to be all that matters.
LSU obviously has much better coordinators. I know you're just trolling hoping to catch retarded homers, but if your expecting me to bite your wasting your time.
Enjoy your fun. Hope you Tigers enjoy your new O coordinator.

No, it doesn't make sense to me personally.
For example, your offensive line coach is the guy behind the scene's that develops and teaches those linemen the tools that they use inside the coordinators offensive scheme.
If you don't teach them how to block correctly how would that coordinators vision ever be translated on the field?

Do only O or D coordinators count as coaching staff?

I agree. I don't think any of the others has actually tried to attack an opposing teams player.

IF he had to RS because of this, who will benefit on the roster with more playing time?
ETA: Perhaps there would be a better way of wording that considering you guys are saying he lost his job to Devall.

I really hope they are just getting the injury bug out of the way early lol.
Lasy year was kindof brutal the way they started to pile up.

Atleast we know he has good hands and won't have fumble problems. I hope he doesn't get hurt though.

quote:Dude gets nowhere near enough credit. I know in my heart that if the game is on the line, throw it to Norwood...he is gonna make the catches and save the fricking day.
Norwood is the best possession receiver in the SEC.
The same can be said for Cooper I suppose, but I just don't get that warm fuzzy with anybody else to the extent that I do with Norwood. Not knocking any of the other receivers in any way...they are all good.
