Under strict condition of anonymity, sources close to the Alabama program have confirmed that Saban is in fact ticketed on a flight to Texas in the latter part of the week.

College Station on a charter, I imagine.

If UT wants to talk to Saban, his flight will not be via an aircraft that requires a ticket.

Ivan Maisel was the "journalist" who reported that Dennis Franchione was never going to leave Alabama for Texas A&M. His credibility is laughable.

Not blaming you, but that was bad. Just poorly done.

Not getting trolled; but I never pass up an opportunity--real or manufactured--to point out how little credibility Maisel has.

Carry on.

Saban isn't leaving Bama until he thinks his time has passed. He likes the challenges of building a team, but just not right now. No matter the money or who it is.

sorry folks, you won't get off the hook of having to deal with him.

Saban to USC. I heard he wants to retire in Malibu. He likes the golf courses out there.

Coach Saban retires at Alabama. I always thought if he left it would be for Notre Dame (new challenge, Catholic, etc), but with Coach Kelley in place, I do not see that happening. He will finish his coaching career at Alabama. Honestly, I see him going another 12-15 years before calling it quits, unless his health becomes an issue.

LSU fans wish he was leaving. Hell, I do too. Saban considering going to ND in the past is laughable at best. Sure, he wants a challenge but he wants a challenge where you don't have academic restrictions. The SEC is the perfect spot.
