So curious to see how this NIL stuff shakes out after a couple of years.
A few of these early adopters are going to get burned.
I can't imagine anyone doing this at some point in the future without a performance clause.

Attention whore from Texas????? Where has he said or done anything to justify a statement like that...... Comes from a good family and seems well grounded in his character. He is/was the #1 recruit in the country and is going to be talked about maliciously by other fans who wanted him to go to their school.

His ceiling is umlimited and he is definitely elite. I would certainly rate him above Arch Manning who is a good comparable. He is a perfect Pro Style QB prospect that can make every throw and has the perfect build while working in an elite HS system and been groomed for years. Of course so was Garrett Gilbert.
That said I saw his game against Westlake for the Title last year and Cade Klubnick significantly outplayed him. Klubnick is a freaking stud and a winner. Still, I think Weigman is still the best of the 3 and he is doing it with far less talent around him than the other 2.
Absolutely insane amount of QB talent for Texas out of that original class with the 3 best in the country who are all 5 Stars. Crazy as well that none of them are going to Texas, even Klubnick that goes to HS about 5 miles from campus and plays on a team with kids of coaches from Texas.
