Is Missouri better than they were given credit for or is LSU really that bad?

Congrats to Drink & Missouri for the big time W on Saturday. I would have never thought that game ends up being a shoot out with a dramatic finish given the talent disparity between rosters.

Nice name brand Win fellas

They're a little bit of both. They have a brand new coaching staff and had very little face time with their team up until recently due to the pandemic. It's taken them a couple of games to work out the kinks. LSU is clearly 2011 Auburn reincarnated.

No hate against Mizzou, but right now, LSU is that bad. At least defensively.

Their next 2 games are Vandy and FL. Their season is trending up real fast.

Our D will look just as bad vs them as LSU's.

If you need further proof, look at Miss state, they are obviously terrible and they beat us worse than Mizzou did.

Alabama and Tennessee both beat Missouri like an old drum, they clearly are not particularly good.

Nah Missouri is trash. Dink is a moron. He lined up to go for it on fourth down, called timeout, brought on the punt team, and tried to fake it.

LSU let a bunch yankee losers beat their arse

Well, most here thought we were Vandy level bad so yeah...we are better than that.

I honestly can’t figure LSU out. They shouldn’t be this bad on D. I’m going to say they get a lot better as the year goes on

Its both. Mizzou fumbled 3 times on our own half. This game isnt really that close if we cleaned that up.

Doubtful. They're going to fire Pelini in a week or two and Ed will take over defensive playcalling. Ed is not a good DC either.

I’d like to get to play the Tennessee game again with Bazelak playing the entire time.

Even if not, if our receivers catch the ball it’s a different game. We were moving the ball very well with CB at QB

Bazelak was also given the keys to the car this week, and that was a big decision. We did the 2 QB thing the first 2 weeks and it was clear that Robinson wasn't going to cut it. We still have a long way to go to get the roster to compete consistently in the East, but Drink knows what he is doing. As far as LSU, they aren't playing as a team right now. But they have the individuals to still play with anyone. I am really looking forward to see how LSU and Florida respond next week.

Anyone with a brain knows we have a new coaching staff in the hardest year to become a new coach. Everyone is learning as they go. We just found our starting QB in week 3. Each week this team is going to get better and better. This whole year is a wash and is more like a 10 game preseason for next year.

Missouri struggled their first two games. I'd think they are about on par with South Carolina. Maybe a little worse based on Tenn being the like opponent. LSU seems to be just really, really bad right now.

I would not be at all surprised if they beat Florida this weekend

Have to give Drink credit. He changed qbs without hesitation when he saw the need. I know some head coaches (mullens for example) that have stayed with qbs when there were better options.
