Biggest thing to happen to Texas A&M happened in the 60's...when the school made the decision to admit women and make the Corps voluntary instead of compulsory.

Considering we've been discussing OM in a A&M flame thread should tell you all you need to know

The Citidel or VMI would have been a better comparison... or VA Tech.
I think a bunch of you gentlemen don't understand what you're dealing with. We likely will be adding 10k engineering students alone in
the next decade... we will be the size of three existing smaller SEC schools combined.
lulz ... no, I got it right when I used the ECU comparison.
And sure we do, we know EXACTLY what we're dealing with. We didn't when you first entered the league, we had high hope for y'all as fans, but you've shown us what you're really made of so ... yeah, we know exactly what we're dealing with.

No, coming to the SEC is the biggest thing to ever happen to A&M.
I mean honestly, think about it, has any rival of this magnitude ever left the conference of its rival team/teams... especially in a state like Texas?

It's pretty crazy how ONE season changes their fanship. I bet a lot of them are closet TX fans
You lied.............why would you do that?

Biggest thing to ever happen to A&M was/is oil. Without the oil endowment they would be the East Carolina of Texas.
Without oil the state of Texas would be a larger Carolina with uglier beaches.
What exactly is your point?

Not a bad week for JFF. Throwing to receivers blind-folded...shooting a 79 at Pebble Beach...throwing out the first pitch at the Padres game, Heisman-style.
Not bad at all.
