Yes O was a bad hire, AD's fault

Talent still top of the line.

2017 Season, complete shite.

Fire Coach O and AD Alleva

2018 Top 2 finish in conference

2019 Possible NCG title

ONLY IF THEY REORGANIZE THE TOP OFFICE AND COACHING STAFF>

No, Louisiana has a ton of in state talent which will always keep them relevant. Tennessee used to be able to raid other states and their in state talent can be lacking. The days of Tennessee being a top program are done.

What happens if LSU beats Tennessee later this year? Will that make Tennessee the new LSU who's the new Tennessee??

Fired their winningest head coach with a natty to his name. Now they got O who is going to be the dooley 2.0. Sorry LSU y'all will have to endure purgatory for a decade.

Would be ironic. UT fired Fulmer and hired a staff including Coach O.

LSU fires Miles and hires Coach O.

That being said...UT swapped places with LSU in the Championship game in '01. It was the SEC version of Freaky Friday. Now we just need someone to find out how to reverse the spell/hex.

Les needed to be fired. It's a consensus thing with LSU fans. He had lost the locker room and they weren't competing.

Hiring O had a certain desperate logic to it factoring that we would pay top dollar for OC and DC, once you acknowledge that our AD botched the hiring search like the clown he is. O could well be Dooley 2.0. Time will tell. It looks scary bad from where I sit.

LSU has recruiting advantages Tenn can't sniff. LSU may stay at the 8/9 win level. But they won't be Tenn. That's a special kind of misery.

You can have great built in recruiting advantages and still be .500 or worse. See Florida, USC, Texas in recent years

Or your Coach can be paying a guy in Tangipahoa Parish who provides cars and rent and jobs to the families of multiple players and the FBI knows about it and BOOM.

Didn't your team just raid Tennessee this year to grab 2 of your highest rated recruits?

Its true the state of Tennessee in the past couldn't sustain a top program with instate talent. That is changing right now. Starting with the 2017 class, the state of Tennessee is now producing the 5th most talent in the country. Only the states of Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California are currently producing more instate talent than Tennessee. Just look up the 2019 talent in Tennessee. 247 already has 20 composite 4-star recruits in Tennessee for the class of 2019.

Don't get it twisted. The state of Tennessee is fertile recruiting ground NOW!!!
