Actually 3 in 16 years, should have been 4 thx to Ok St.

Or maybe if Les had actually tried to win the game instead of basically doing the exact same thing that should have lost him the game in Tuscaloosa.

Everyone knows the luckiest program ever is Auburn. Maybe Alabama finally killed Auburn Jesus this year.

No, we live in a state responsible for more NFL players per capita than any other.

We live in a state with one P5 school.

We live in a state that has an exceptional HS football culture.

Arkansas leads the nation in incest. Congratulations.

Only one of those was luck/supreme good fortune. The backdoor 2007 title is an aberration, one they wouldn't have won any other year with that team, etc.

The other's are just normal. Landing on a top talent or getting a couple bounces is how most teams win.

Since college football began in the year 2000, LSU has won three fluke national titles with three consecutive head coaches, and lucked our way into being among the winningest programs in America. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky!

Lucked into the GOAT football coach which led to 2 titles and lucked into one of the top 5 GOAT college QBs with 2 1st rd receivers and a 1st rd back. 3 luckiest titles ever

Emm, every single natty takes at least some luck whether you're talking about roster, team chemistry, Xs and Os, outcomes of games not involving your team -- there are lots of variables, so I'm not sure what your issue is.

If LSU is lucky, maybe Arky is snakebit. Between the two, give me luck all day long.

No saban was a known great coach by then. What was lucky for LSU was saban was an unknown commodity and they just happened to hire the goat. Bama knew they were getting a great one

Bama tried to hire Rich Rodriguez and got turned down at the last second. Then Saban fell in their laps.

I would define that as more luck than anything you described in OP

It’s not luck. But whatever you say. I know Piggy wishes they had some Luck. Hell, I’ll take that “luck” the Tigers have had since 2003.

Saban won one with DiNardo's recruiting mixed with his and his process. Les inherited some good players but there is no doubt Les won that. He gave Saban fits for a while until he refused to adapt. JB is the best college QB so I guess we are lucky there. I'd say Bama is the most lucky as we molded Saban into what he is today.
