Who will be the next Florida alum charged with murder?
Probably someone on the NCAA committee after they hand LSU the death penalty.

Cutting off the legs of your jeans does not constitute as murder, unfortunately.

You're good a deflecting. Keep at it -- it'll help you and your fellow LSU fans cope better with what is about to come.

Bama cheats enough in football to cover every other team in every other sport. There's a reason theyve been on probation more than anyone else in the last 20 or 30 years. You take away the Emmert protection years and they've basically been on it more than off.

Raybern you hate Bama more than you love Auburn. That is the mentality in our rivalry that makes it the most evil rivalry in all of ncaa sports. There are plenty of Bama fans that hate Auburn more than they love Bama too so don’t think I’m insulting you. I was glad to move up to Maryland and get out of Mobile to get away from all that Bama - AU hatred bullshite. Its too bad man.

Neither Alexander nor Davey were prospects at the time this happened.

No, I'm just not emotionally connected like you.
you're projecting. You are emotionally connected in a negative way in that you want LSU to receive punishment. That you can't even admit this makes having a good faith discussion impossible.

LMAO! So if you steal money, it's ok to give it to a player's daddy?
you're still having trouble with what actually happened. They payments are how Funes stole the money. The payment itself is the embezzlement.

James has no access to a Booster at LSU except via the son, Vadal.
You don't know that to be true
and again please post the dates of the payment that show it was both within the statue of limitations and also while Vadal was at LSU. That's a small window of time. So even if your interpretation of what happened is how the NCAA views it, it still may not matter.

You guys sure are setting yourselves up to be embarrassed again. Nothing will come of this like always. You idiots just never learn.

In a statement, LSU Senior Associate Athletic Director Robert Munson says only that, “LSU was made aware of specific allegations by OLOL officials in late 2018 and made that information immediately available to the NCAA. As this is an ongoing inquiry, LSU will have no further comment.”

Also lets look at it another way. Even if your interpretation and dot connecting is correct, what realistically do you think the NCAA will do about it?
For reference, the NCAA found an LSU football assistant coach made payments to a player to enroll at LSU in 2009. In 2011 the NCAA accepted the self imposed penalty of 1 year probation and 10 percent visit reduction for coaches for the fall of 2011.

GOD BLESS you. He was a STUDENT ATHLETE at LSU.
If it's not an ISSUE.. then LSU would NOT have reported it.
They reported it because an NCAA officer was at the trial. Watching it because they can now use it.

Would of course expect them to look into it. But that doesn't mean a) LSU will be penalized or b) they will be severe even if there are penalties.

Correct. Alexander was already on the team.

3 of his 4 years at LSU would fall outside the statute of limitations.

Doesn't matter. Once pops received payment, he's not eligible to play until getting that resolved (paying back the money and probably sitting out games).
Good luck with all that. Sucked when we went through it.

Of course a statute of limitations matters

You're also assuming the embezzlement qualifies as an impermissible payment per the NCAA regulations, which I'm not sure it does.

Yea, one of his years there falls in the statute. After pops took the payment, he was no longer eligible to play. Pretty easy to see this is within the statute. I understand your frustration, though.

So you think it doesn't count if the money is stolen?
