It’s common knowledge that college football was invented by Nick Saban in Baton Rouge on September 2, 2000 when a team representing Western Carolina University came to town to challenge the LSU Tigers. Where have you been?!

Is this a serious question?

The obvious answer is aTm.

I predict the LSU / Ole Miss game will be over by the half.

I really wouldn't want to piss tiger fans off even more.

After ripping the hearts from your team's 7-0 bodies and then dropped a big tiger deuce on your HC.... the students strolled onto the field.

Everybody expects A&M to finish at 8-4, which is pretty much where they annually finish, so I would say they do rather well compared to expectations.

Before Saban they weren’t much. LSU fans act like college football only started in 2000.

LSU won the SEC in the 80s with two different coachs,

1986 Bill Arnsparger 9–3 5–1
1988† Mike Archer 8–4 6–1

Wanna go back even more
1896† SIAA Allen Jeardeau 6–0 4–0
1902‡ W. S. Borland 6–1 5–1
1908 Edgar R. Wingard 10–0 3–0
1932† SoCon Biff Jones 6–3–1 4–0
1935 SEC Bernie Moore 9–2–0 5–0
1936 9–1–1 6–0
1958 Paul Dietzel 11–0 6–0
1961† 10–1 6–0
1970 Charles McClendon 9–3 5–0
1986 Bill Arnsparger 9–3 5–1
1988† Mike Archer 8–4 6–1

How many SEC championships do the Pigs have?

The majority of this board was not born when y'all won your last national championship.

Especially not bad when you mix in the fact that LSU is matched with Florida every year. The Gators have won it twice in that time frame.

Alabama has greatly benefited from their cross division annual matchup (Tennessee) sucking for the last 15 years
