No and no. MSU torched the tigers with that underdog mentality. Love Leach and that O. As for LSU, everyone had said how the schedule fits LSU very well with 3 easy games to start. This team brought that mentality to the slaughterhouse yesterday. Leach will put up points on everyone they play. It's what the Pirate does. Will that be enough to be significant in the west? It will be fun to watch. Congrats to MSU yesterday.

LSU that bad - Yes
Dawgs that good - No

The Tigers don’t have any talent this year. Sorry, but O isn’t a good coach and his coaching staff around him this year sucks.

How LSU wins the best Offensive Line in the country award last year and the. This crap. Allowing Brennan to get sacked by a three man rush.

The defense. Shredded on 3rd and long plays ALL DAY with Zero Adjustments

Defense allowed the most passing yards in SEC HISTORY

WEare bad.

Idk...Mrs. State did impress the hell out of me though. Mike Leach with SEC athletes is gonna be a headache for everyone else

LSU’s backups are better than us, so clearly they couldn’t be that bad. Dawgs just that good.

Don’t worry, after LSU gets their first win their fans will think they are the best team in the Country and the rest of us are idiots for not seeing it (I’ve always blamed this on the fact that they are drinking the wastewater from everyone 1000 miles north of them). I swear it’s something in the water.

Hell, LSU could lose every game and not look as bad as they did yesterday.
Every pass play was a chase scene. Can't believe how bad it looked yesterday. Hope state does well going forward.

I think LSUs DBs are that bad. And Costello is that good. His ball placement was elite yesterday.

You are an idiot

Most large cities, that border rivers, filter river water.

For BR,

They drink southern hills aquifer water

So you're saying the REC did work?

Retardo take. The talent is there, just very young and no depth. A not good coach doesn't have a 15-0 season ffs

Well, let's not forget that everyone in Louisiana with a triple digit IQ already moved to Texas. That's probably a contributing factor too.

Costello and the “Air Raid” offense was definitely effective. But, many on this board and even in the media are getting a little ahead of themselves after one game.

Miss. State will be a very good team this year and be a tough out for any team in the West.

With that said LSUs secondary was absolutely terrible. Depth played a major part and it showed up all over the field. That’s what happens when you play:

Ricks (True Fr)
Flott (So)
Ward (So - was on injury report)
Jones (Rs Fr - also on injury report)
Evans (Grad transfer from Nicholls State)

Again, Miss. State is a very good team this year but LSUs secondary yesterday was far from SEC caliber. Interested to see Miss. States offense play UK, AU, BAMA, UGA, etc.

Has there ever been a football national champion follow it up with a losing record?

That's bull..... Gene Chizik had a natt and went undefeated when he had Cam Newton. I didn't hear anything about Malzahn being such an offensive wiz either.. As it was with Cam it was Joe all the way. Chizik was a good D-Coordinator but bad head coach. Lightning strikes through a bottle every now and then.
