It’s one game, so I’m hesitant to read too much into it. MSU was clearly the better team, but how good they are remains to be seen. I do know they can beat anyone on their schedule with Hill on the field and Costello dropping dimes like he did yesterday.

Everyone except LSU fans knew this year’s team would take a big step back from 2019. They lost too much not to, and the Brady loss looks most concerning. They had no offensive identity yesterday, and the OL got whipped. They have the talent to correct things though, so we will see.

. I didn't hear anything about Malzahn being such an offensive wiz either.. As it was with Cam it was Joe all the way.

Gus took a team that went 0-8 and turned them in to the nations best rushing team, SEC Championship and National title game.

No other SEC team has lead the nation in rushing since. You are incredibly off base.

Has there ever been a football national champion follow it up with a losing record?

I’m not sure but i tried looking it up and I couldn’t find anything so that would be a first as far as I know

Leach has a history of losing games his team should win.

Arkansas over State has upset written all over it.

No and no.

I agree. Depsite how bad things looked for LSU yesterday the game was still winnable. It was not a blowout and is fixable to some extent. The main issue here is State had a grad transfer experienced QB and we had a guy starting his first ever game...

The experienced guy found a way to win and the newbie folded the tent at the end of the game.

Yes. No. The shrimp boat captain proved last year was a fluke. Chizik 2.0 like I have said many times. What a joke.

I know that malzahn is a very good O-Coordinator. All i am saying is everytime you turn around it is Joe Brady and his " passing wizardry" made Joe great. It helped, but Joe is Joe, just like Cam is Cam. I have seen Carolina play and quite frankly, their passing game sucks.
