At this point State could beat LSU.
I believe it.

The Tigers will be coming in hot after they rid themselves of the BK cancer. Frank will have them energized & playing loose with nothing to lose.
Meanwhile, this is the kind of game Deboer's struggled with. On paper, bama should roll them, and they could be overconfident & looking ahead to OU.
If you get creamed by a 4-4 ACC team, then anything is on the table.
No, Bama by minimum of 2 TD's. Good day.

LSU could go in winless and still be the team Bama hates to lose to the most. So no trap game with LSU. They are far too insecure to make it a trap game

Nobody is overlooking LSU.

Got news for you, Bama hates losing to everybody. LSU is just another game.

I think more LSU fans than Bama fans feel like this game won't be close. Sure, we could win big, but I can totally see this being a 4th quarter game.

UAB beat a Memphis team they had no business beating in Baby Mort's first game, then had a bye week and proceeded to look like their usual shite selves at UConn (who, tbf, are good this year). And that's just one example.
Bama can't run the ball and Grubb/DeBoer go into Tuberville mode if they get a lead, plus Bama's DL is probably as much a liability as LSU's OL, so it's possible.

LSU fans are by far the most pessimistic bunch about their team nowadays.

The on and off field problems are wearing on the fan base. If it was one or the other, that’s manageable. But they have an unmitigated disaster down there

Teams with interim head coaches have played well so far this year. UF took Georgia to the wire last weekend. Oregon State is 2-0 since they let their head coach go. UCLA looked great after they fired theirs.

That pick reminds me a lot of the Deshazor Everett pick in 2012. Minus the return
