Except their AP title wasn’t vacated. It’s even in that record book you linked earlier.

Listen carefully. The NCAA does NOT recognize it. They vacated the title. The title cannot be legitimately claimed by ANYBODY.

Not sure if I can explain it to you any clearer. But in your honor, I have made a new signature quote.

Blue Bloods are the ones that will drive TV ratings no matter their current success or failures.

Notre Dame
Alabama
USC
Texas
tOSU
Michigan
Oklahoma

That’s it’s.. and there is no way to become one. No matter the current success.

Example.
When Clemson starts to turn down, and they will; they will be a middle tier draw

If Penn St wins a title they will be hot; only to fall in ratings once they turn down again.

The teams above draw based in their name and history; doesn’t matter the current level of success.

The NCAA doesn’t award a title. The AFCA decided to take their trophy away. The AP did not and they’re still listed in the records book thingy YOU linked earlier.

I cannot believe you added Florida State and even used the term traditional power to include them and exclude LSU. Fact is Bobby Bowden was tempted to take the LSU job until he saw that FSU could compete with and even defeat LSU. That was when he decided to stay at Free Shoes University.

I can agree with this although I’d still consider Nebraska since they’ve won a billion conference titles.

Exactly. If you weren't a blue blood 40 years ago, it's way too damn late to join the club. We are accepting no new members.

Good for you. You are trolling and this is why nobody can have a serious conversation. Congrats on contributing to garbage on the board.

The NCAA does recognize it though. The record book you yourself linked in this very thread...

You're joking right? The NCAA vacated the Championship.

Look it up, dude.

Those are poll rankings. You know that right?

From the link you provided and I have cited:

2004#Southern California: BCS, USA Today, AP, FW, NFF#BCS later vacated Southern California’s 2004 BCS championship

You do know what vacated means, right?

Let me help you with some English now:

vacate
['va?kat]
VERB
vacated (past tense) · vacated (past participle)

leave (a place that one previously occupied).
"rooms must be vacated by noon on the last day of your vacation"
synonyms:
leave · get out of · move out of · evacuate · quit · go away from · depart from · exit from · withdraw from · pull out of · abandon · desert · relinquish · forsake
give up (a position or office).
"he will vacate a job in government sales"
synonyms:
resign from · leave · stand down from · give up · bow out of · relinquish · depart from · walk out on · retire from · abdicate · quit · chuck · pack in
law
cancel or annul (a judgment, contract, or charge).
"the Justices vacated a ruling by the federal appeals court"
synonyms:
annul · invalidate · nullify · declare null and void · render null and void · void · [more]

They do not have a NC in that year. I have shown you ample proof. I have shown you with a link YOU provided. Now you can go sit in the corner and cry by yourself. I have given ample proof. I am no longer in this thread.

God almighty,this is idiocy.

UGA is 2nd in the SEC in conference titles, played for 3 NC's the last 40 years,3rd all time in bowl wins and 11 all time in wins (minus Ivys)

Stanford and OM don't come CLOSE to the UGA resume.

The NCAA didn't vacate anything. Only the BCS did. Not the AP.

They won 1 BCS title.

What? All of Miami's titles were undisputed and one was in the BCS
era. Are you really claiming a 1908 title is the same?

The 1908 claim is sad. Football in the South was not up to par. The Ivy League was the premier conference. LSU should claim 1935 or 1961 though
