Kiffen is a really good offensive mind, no doubt, I'm still on the fence as to just how good a head coach he is.
Brian Kelly has won at a high % wherever he has been as a head coach, and at ND definitely had to deal with much higher admission standards than at LSU.
My vote would go to Kelly pretty easily.
Kiffen is quite a bit younger though so he still has time to become an elite HC.

I like Brian Kelt at running a program. I really like Kiffin when he is calling plays and feeling it but he can also make some greedy moves.

Pretty accurate summary, in my opinion.
I know this: given equal talent, I'd be a helluva lot more comfortable with Alabama playing against Brian Kelly than Lane Kiffin.

And yet, in Alabama's undefeated championship year, he was tied with Alabama with 11:30 left to play. No other team...not Florida, not Ohio State, and certainly not Brian Kelly...was able to say that.
Did Brian Kelly have more talent at ND in 2020 than Kiffin had? Because Kiffin was the one who put a scare into Alabama, not Kelly.
