UF had the ball just 6 times against UGA last year. They scored on 3 of those possessions. If the defense could've gotten off the field, they would've scored more.
Yeah UGA fans keep talking shite about our offense but the difference maker in last season's game was UGA's ball control offense, and for all of his inconsistency otherwise, that was all Fromm coming in clutch on third down

IDK.

Jones is just as good as any Bama QB not named Tua.
JG has the 2nd best QBR of any returning QB.

Mond is "the best QB in the country" as well.

No. Not even top 3. Teams now have enough game tape to prepare and game plan for him. I’m not so sure he’s the best QB on his own team. I think Emory Jones is a much better fit for Mullen’s offense.

That throw off his back foot to Grimes on the sideline will be my response to anyone who says he has a weak arm

It's not a cannon but it's stronger than people give him credit for

This is very silly and implies that Trask's success was based on gimmickry that is bound to be exposed

It wasn't. He's just a solid pocket passing QB

Mac Jones did well in his starts, but that's too small a sample and he may lose his job

It's a small sample but he played some against some pretty good defenses in Auburn and Michigan. I think Mac can be as good or better than AJ McCarron who's still holding a clipboard in the league. 14 Tds to 3 INTs is good football. I wouldn't trade him for Trask and I'm sure Florida fans wouldn't trade Trask for him. Mac had a QBR that was 30 points higher though

Mullen’s offense is better suited for a QB that is a threat to run and now that teams know what Trask does well and what he doesn’t, his Drew Bledsoe-esque pocket presence will be exposed. I think Emory Jones will eventually become the starter as the season progresses, either due to injury, better fit or poor play.

It may be a weak year for QBs in the SEC

I think that teams knew that Kyle Trask wasn't exactly Lamar Jackson pretty quickly

He does need to protect the ball better in the pocket but he made plenty of tough throws under pressure last season. Implying that teams only know to pressure him now is incredibly silly

There was nothing flukey or gimmicky about Trask's success last season. He'll be fine.

I don't know; if you follow mocks people seem to be buying into Newman, Mond, and Costello as first-round picks for whatever fricking reason

I think Pelini exposes him this year. He won’t give him much time to throw.

He's certainly the preseason pick, because no good QBs return. He won't be the All-SEC QB at the end though. He's just average.

The All-SEC QB will be Jamie Newman or Myles Brennan (or potentially Mac Jones, but I think he will flop)

He's the best QB Florida has had in a long time. Hopefully, the line continues to develop. They were adequate in pass blocking but the run blocking left a lot to be desired. I'd like to see Trask complemented by a strong run game. Will need some receivers to step up as well after losing a lot of talent this past year.

Ya think..

Not know “to” pressure him now but know “how to” pressure him. It is silly to think teams don’t want to pressure EVERY QB they face. But schematically, there are a lot of different ways of doing it and coverage has just as much to do with it as blitzing. Like I said, teams are watching film on him and will have a better understanding of what his weaknesses, vulnerabilities and tendencies are.

Is it possible to flop at Bama with the skill position talent they have? He might lose his job to Bryce Young though
