Is Kirk the best true freshman of all time?

Coop was pretty damn good. Not as productive, but he was probably just as good. Kirk's season has been insane so far, though.

ETA: Didn't realize OP was talking any position from any conference. Not that I think Coop is the best SEC freshman WR.

Of all time? Dude, come on. There have been some ridiculous freshmen in college football history. 4 games into the season and haven't had a TRUE test yet.

Good point. Garrett is the best pass rusher this early on in SEC history.
