You’re high on swamp gas and meth if you think LSU was a top five job.
It’s a top 15 job possibly a top 10 job but there’s no way a top 5.
The death star that was Nick Saban who cast countless shadows over you, and your program finally got blown up so I’m gonna give you a little leeway. Please try not to say crazy things going forward.

Stupid is someone believing an idiot who says LSU is a better job than Ohio State and Michigan.

That's fine brother, Mizzou is going to be much better than LSU next season.... I'll take a ban bet for it.
I’ll take this bet. Overall record? Time frame?

He’s most likely trying to extort LSU for more money that they don’t actually have.
He's on a deal for $9.5M/yr on avg through 2031 and has a 90% of remaining buyout clause on our end. There's no more money to be had until he wins something

LSU has as many national titles as both those programs combined from 2003-2023

Yes, but both those programs have a lot more NIL

Won 2 national titles and played for a third after Nick Saban left here with Les Miles and Ed Orgeron
Cant be atop 5 job though with ZERO in state competition for talent in a talent rich state

LSU has had a higher ranked recruiting class than Michigan both this year and last. And the 2024 class was one of the weakest in LA.

Why in the ever loving frick would Kelly consider going from LSU to Michigan? Outside of a substantial difference in money Michigan is Notre Dame without the history. The commitment to winning at LSU is infinitely higher than it is at Michigan....it is far more likely to win natty's from the SEC than it is from the Big10. Recruiting is easier and fan support is greater. Outside of a heaping pile of money, which LSU can match and would be foolish not to, there is no advantage to coaching at Michigan over LSU.
Baton Rouge is in a 5 hour radius of an area where about 30% of the NFL was born and played high school football. Ann Arbor is in a 5 hour radius of an area where about 5% did. That area around Baton Rouge is lousy with bug fast linemen and blistering fast skill position players. Michigan ain't close in terms of talent in a 5 hour radius. That alone makes LSU a better job.

Now that Old Man Saban is retired it’s abundantly clear who the rest of the SEC fears
