Sure, they look good with lots of great players.

But lets not pretend that they have played anybody.

It was week 1, in a defensive slugfest with a first time starter at QB and a new defensive coordinator in his first game and a new offensive coordinator in his first game.

Texas' defense is currently 12th in the country.

Georgia was fortunate it happened at the end of the four team format.

This implies that some team in 2022 would have had a prayer of beating us in the playoffs. Ohio state was the only team with a shot and they lost. Lol at thinking Michigan or some other scrub would've contended with our 22 team with a title on the line

If UGA and Buckeyes end up in a playoff game, and Oh State is up 21 at the half, how good do the Buckeye's feel about it?

Indiana has an even easier schedule than Ohio St. untill the BIG title game. Cig is going to pull a Dabo and start implementing a game plan for Sayin over the next few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised to see Indiana pull off the upset.

It’s a lot harder to win back to back in a 12 team playoff.

I think the exact opposite.

For example, if wasn't a 12 team playoff last year, Ohio St doesn't even win the 1st one, much less 2.

People are really weird about extrapolating single games to define teams, and its even weirder when its done on a week 1 game.

I don't think we can crown OSU yet, but to me they have to be the clear favorite for now. They have done really everything you could ask of them so far.

Ohio State's defense is better than Bama's, who held you scoreless in the 4th quarter at home. So they should probably feel pretty good in that situation.

The expanded playoff let in teams with more than one loss. Logically you’d think a team with more than one loss would lose again in an expanded playoff because they’ve had recent history if doing just that. But credit where it’s due. They got hot and their defense was significantly better when they made necessary adjustments. I just don’t see them winning it again this year.

I knew Tennessee wasn't winning the championship this year in January, no need to troll because you can't make a good point

Ohio State is going to lose 2 games at least. One in the BTT game (if they make it) and again in the playoffs.

I just think making it to the playoffs is a lot easier now and that really offsets any added difficulty by playing mostly crappy teams who get in due to good records on shitty schedules.

Last year Ohio St lost to Michigan in the final game of the season, and didn't even play in the Big10 championship game.

But yeah, their final path in the playoffs themselves was more difficult than a 4 team playoff.
