Ole Miss will win just to spite Mississippi State.

They won't let those poor bastards enjoy their title a second longer than humanly possible.

We hit straight to their gloves. That game was so fast. And we also didn’t swing for shite the last 3 innings.

That is one reason why it is stupid to speculate on baseball games.

These two teams are evenly matched and it's stuff like that that will make the difference.

No spite from State fans. Our tradition and legacy in baseball is secure. Ole Miss winning a Natty will not change that.

In fact them winning a NC will be great for Mississippi. We have great college baseball here including Juco, D2 as well as NAIA.
Pearl River just won the Juco NC. Delta State, William Carey are a couple of other small college baseball powerhouses (those clubs can play with any D1 team) just to name a couple.

This has been a really weird post season which has seen what I consider an average OU make the run when everything had to fall their way.

Sounds just like last year.

Not really.

State and Vandy were both top eight seeds in the finale. NC State was the outlier who were screwed an opportunity to play to get in the NC finals. Everybody assumed they would have beaten Vandy but they would have been facing Leiter which would have not been a gimme for them at all.

Now while OM started highly ranked Oklahoma did not find their stride until about two thirds into the season.

Oklahoma is due for drop off now so I am predicting Ole Miss wins in either 2 or 3 games. Okie is due for some WTF moments and the baseball gods tend to send them at the most in opportune time.
Ole Miss got their loss out of the way Wednesday and they are now refocused.

So this tournament has been completely different from last year with the exception of the number one seed failing to get to Omaha.

I don’t know what their issues were early on but OU made a run and probably should have been a host. And I’ve seen a lot of them in the post season, they’ve looked great. Hate we don’t have our bullets lined up but it should be an exciting final.
