It's more possible than you think. I spent some time last night looking at Oklahoma baseball season stats and wonder how they made it this far. This has been a really weird post season which has seen what I consider an average OU make the run when everything had to fall their way.

The same can be said for Ole Miss , I mean, Arkansas was really their only team standing in their way but they got it done.

Ole Miss has more. They have both hitting and pitching while OU overachieved to get here. OU does not have a 1-9 batting line-up that scares me. They have a couple of decent pitchers but their pitching has NOTHING on Ole Miss.

I'm gonna call this game like this....

Ole Miss takes 2 of 3, wins the two something like 12-5 and 9-3

OU said the other night they got one stud healthy (can't recall his name) and another emerged.for their pitching. Those two and other elements just gelling has resulted in them going 20-5 down the stretch. And most of that against very good competition. They aren't a fluke at this point.

I would say it is more than likely! OM had the talent to dominate this year. They are hot at the right time

What exactly had to fall their way? Good pitching and great hitting?

Since the post season Ou has averaged 8 runs a game and Ole Miss has averaged 7.6 a game. Does that mean you're less impressed with the 1-9 from Ole Miss?

Now do runs allowed, whose that favor?

Different opponents. I really don't think OU has a single position advantage against us.

Maybe in the field but Gonzo, Chat, Dunhurst and McCants need to start hitting!

For sure the Rebels. Sandlin has been responsible for a majority of the games giving up big numbers. He also just pitched 7 innings giving up only one run with 12 k's. Bennett and Horton have been pretty damn good and that's who the Rebels will face Saturday and Sunday.

So do we.

Had some key folks come back from injury late in the season, and some key freshmen getting their feet underneath them. That's it in a nutshell

This may have been an average OU team up until about a month ago, but this team is playing as well as anyone. Florida was much improved and playing some really good ball the last few weeks, and they came into Hogtown and smacked us around.

They are legit.

From an A&M perspective, we concur. They could pitch and hit at a high clip.

Don’t come in here acting like tu and 8&forfiet. You’re better than that. OU has something neither of the other schools have. Respect don’t lose it.

This is a bad matchup for Ole Miss. I think itll be two games and OU is your champ

I guess Ole Miss shouldn’t have anything to worry about against OU. We’ll see…

The fear is palatable.

All this.

Both teams peaking. Both teams are great stories. Us fans of other teams, let's just watch and enjoy.
Personally, I think game 2 is the biggie. If Ole Miss makes it to game 3 they are sitting pretty.

I am going to be calling Texas and OU will not be coming to the SEC until 2025!
