It is hell being a hog football fan. The past 8 years or so have been the worst stretch in modern football.
But we used to be good!
Do not look up Arky history in the big game. Lead the SEC in championship appearances without a victory. Overall bowl record is yikes-ville. Stupid AP rule not including bowl games screws us out of a championship, then rules changes screw us out of another a few years later. Big Shootout = loss. Victory formation against #1 Tenn = fumble loss. So many examples losing the big game.
It is hell being a Razorback fan.
And you want good message boarding? frick that; it takes a fifth of whiskey just for us to make it through a damn game!

I like the little Arkansas posters. They are cute. At least there’s a lot of them posting despite their team being bad. I can’t say the same thing about Ole Miss or Missou posters.

You would have to go back to even before the Bowden Wyatt years to find a worse stretch. Those years are similar in ways to today in that the school didn't care and had no identity. That changed when Frank Broyles showed up. Now we are enduring an identity crisis with people like Jeff Long that didn't care. Now he got the boot and Hunter Yuracheck seems to care and hopefully he will put the effort needed to turn it around.

Nutt was 2-5 in bowl games at Arkansas? Ouch. I remember him winning those two Cotton Bowls with UM, Orgeron left him with an extremely talented, veteran roster. One of the most talented you'll see outside of the big six. Once those players cycled out Nutt was screwed

Most of the posters on that list either got new jobs that required less shite-posting on the computer and/or had kids.
I know Latarian has 1 or 2 kids. From personal experience having multiple kids really knocks out a lot of shitposting ability. I've been more active during the Corona Sharona because I'm the only MFer in my building at work.

Here is the breakdown of the Houston Nutt bowl history.
1998 the Citrus Bowl. Arkansas vs. Michigan. Tom Brady played in this game. Arkansas lost 45-31 but it was back and forth before the fourth quarter. Michigan finished in both AP and coaches at number 12. A 9-3 record and certainly no Memphis state.
1999 the Cotton Bowl. Arkansas vs. Texas. Arkansas just wanted it more and won 27-6. Texas finished in both Coaches No. 23 and AP No. 21. The final record was 9-5. They were not a Minnesota.
2000 Las Vegas Bowl. This is when the WTF moments started brewing. Arkansas would score on it's opening drive but UNLV would win 31-14. UNLV would finish 8-5 and unranked. This is one of the worst bowl moments in history.
2001 Cotton Bowl. Arkansas vs. Oklahoma. Arkansas would play hard in this game that was a defensive battle. Arkansas lost 10-3. Oklahoma finished in the Coaches No. 6 and the AP No. 6. Oklahoma had a record of 11-2. Tulsa? Not even close.
2002 Music City Bowl. Arkansas vs. Minnesota. Arkansas had players bitch a bout why they deserved a better bowl but Minnesota that was on a four game losing streak coming into this game, had other plans. Minnesota won 29-14. Minnesota had a 8-5 record and finished unranked.
2003 Independence Bowl. Arkansas vs. Missouri. After Arkansas started 4-0 and ranked in the BCS, it fell apart and went 0 in October. Arkansas. Arkansas won 27-14 after a disappointing season and a loaded roster. Missouri had a 8-5 record and finished unranked.
2006 Capital Bowl. Arkansas vs. Wisconsin. At this late in the year, Arkansas was in disarray with the Mitch Mustain debacle. Darren McFadden was hurt and Houston Nutt was texting a news anchor seconds before the team ran out on the field. Arkansas lost 17-14. Wisconsin finished in the Coaches No. 5 and AP No. 7. They had a 12-1 record.

The team quit and players like Darren McFadden and Felix Jones played like they prefer the combine instead. Arkansas lost 38-7 in a very sluggish and uninspired game.
