Strange thread. Bama fans have spent decades calling AU fans jealous and insecure, and here is a 23 page thread with bama fans wanting to argue that we're all the same.

LOL at bama fans thinking they are the same as Auburn fans. Youre not. Never have been never will be. Auburn fans, for the most part, are well educated and successful. Bama fans, for the most part, are uneducated and poor.

Said it before, and I I will say it again. Drive thru the trashiest trailer park and notice the overwhelming abundance of Gumption.

Yeah, Alabama had a lot of bad years in between those two coaches. It's not like they were a powerhouse all those years in between. See what I'm getting at?

So we agree, based on your observations, and facts like the revenue thread, that those polls can't possibly be correct. Cool..

Grew up in an AU family and lived in Auburn for a long time. I guess I didn't latch on because of the football team.

It's amazing to watch these Barners talk shite when everyone knows they could never make it socially at UA.....bunch of socially retarded outcasts.

You never really had a choice then. You became what your surroundings dictated. I guess we'll never what you would have chosen without the influence of your environment.

Meh, they have said that in the past to mask insecurities but most of them know Bama is pretty far beneath AU as a fanbase on the whole and doesn't measure up as a university either.

Maybe, but I doubt it would've been because of the football team. I probably would've picked which school and town I liked better.
