verybody knows the barn only has one instance of back to back 10 wins season in their entire history. 1988/1989, and we went to the Sugar Bowl in '89.

Y'all better not start throwing bricks through Saban's window.
On another note, I don't think Bama fans are tight for the playoffs. Bama is playing with house money and fortunate to be in there. If they come back with all players healthy, I think with 30+ days for Saban to gameplan, the opposition could be fricked. Especially Clemson and Georgia (assuming they make it -- I assume they beat OU to be honest).

Maybe so, who knows. Just be greatful UGA had an easy schedule and move on. You're in the playoffs, enjoy it.
Especially the SECCG

are you kidding me? LSU has won 7 of the last 10 against AU and gus has not been a problem for us much. resigning gus was a mystery to me. I guess auburn is happy if they beat bama every now and then.

Much easier to play Auburn a week after the Iron Bowl, that's for sure.

All trolling aside, there are some fairly striking similarities between the two... NC winning OCs who got SEC head jobs with virtually no HC experience (Gus did have one season in the sun belt)... both won a conference title early on.
Gus hasn’t gained as much traction as richt did through 5 seasons, the the SECW from 2013-17 is a completely different animal than the post-spurrier SECE richt enjoyed.

Hard to imagine Gus wouldn't be a consistent 10 win coach with UGA's schedule. Just saying.

Of course he would... richt got to Athens at the perfect time... spurrier had left for DC, and fulmer would never reach the the heights of 98/99 seasons again (granted, some of this could be bc of UGA and richt).

Who'd you play before the LSU game?

Ole Miss...but KJ was 75% against LSU from an injury earlier in the season. Ya'll were one of the first teams to experience our O with KJ 100%.

You do know that we beat ND at SB with a true freshman QB after our starting QB went out the game before, right? Injuries happen to every program. We've had key RBs go down for years; Gurley, Marshall, Chub, Michel vs AU. You have to have depth to win long term in the SEC. We had players banged up vs Auburn that first game. Can't use injuries as an excuse. It's football.

Is Gus the new Richt?
Did Mark Richt manage that, with much more talented teams? No?

Richt actually won with his own QBs.

If we'd had Bo on the bench or Chubb or Gurley or Tre then it wouldn't of mattered either. We didn't congrats on the win. Eason getting hurt made ya'lls season.

Maybe you guys will win 10 games again in a few years.

Glad Curry left, 3 years later we won a natty and we averaged 10 wins per year for the next 7 or 8 years as well.
