So this picture of Guice with a Range Rover gets posted in late Sept.

Since then he only plays takes 8 handoffs vs Cuse, then proceeds to sit out an "easy win" vs Troy, and it looks like he may take off the UF game as well.

And what exactly is his injury?

Coach O called it minor and said Guice was fine.

Here is another quote where O sounds confused on Guice's status.

"Derrius is out, I don't know if he's going to practice this week and I don't know if he's going to play but I said that last week and he played," Orgeron said. "We're going to see how he goes on a day-to-day basis but he's hurt a little bit right now."

This one doesn't pass the smell test. I wish players felt comfortable enough to say they quit and just want to protect themselves for the draft.

I don't think you can really come to any other conclusion at this point.

I don't fault him. The system is screwed up.

I think the NFL and college football should adopt the college baseball approach.
1. You can go after HS
2. You can go JUCO and go after year 1 or year 2
3. If you sign with a D1 school then you're there 3 years (unless you turn 21 before your 2nd year)

I don't blame him for not wanting to be the next Marcus Lattimore.

Has to be. As we have learned, players taking pictures near cars is definitive evidence of cheating

I don't think the car thing has anything to do with it, but the injury thing is.

Don't be too sure. The same "friend" who arranged for the ride, could also be advising him.

Fournette started something and it is a cancer that will grow on college football until it is addressed and excised. And the only way to excise it is to walk up to Guice and say what’s wrong with you. When he gives you some bullshite answer that the medical staff won’t support, tell him to GTFO. Clean out your locker and GTFO. See how much that helps your draft status.

Your hatred for LSU and fournette makes you say idiotic stuff. Ever heard of Clowney? He did it before Fournette. And Clowney wasn't the first.

I don't really fault him either because he seems like a good guy and it's his future etc buuuuuut I dunno, there's something quite awesome about seeing someone play their butt off in times of woe and discontent.

Ankle bothering him but yes he is doing the Fournette approach when not 100 percent. But I think he is realizing he actually needs to get back on the field and do something so I expect him to play soon. Orgeron not going to allow gim to just skip practice and then go play a game every now and then.
