Look at this, smokeyone outs himself as a person who doesnt watch games, but does look at box scores. Since its clear you didnt watch the game, lets just say he was clutch as frick from the final 2 minutes of the 1st half to his TD run early in the 4th Q. 4 straight drives, which led to 20 points, and then they ran the clock out.

Watched the game, used the stat line to reenforce the fact that dude didn’t have a world beater ****superstar night. I guess it’s a matter of being impressed by different aspects of the game and being stingy with praise. Because I need more than managing a game well and not screwing up to be impressed by a performance.

2019 and 2020 were lost chances, but trying to spin that as our own making is classic smokeyone ignorance. Fields getting immediate eligibility as a transfer was unprecedented in 2019, and so was Newman quitting after a fall scrimmage.

So we’re 2017, 2018, etc.. Fields left because Kirby didn’t want an athletic dual threat QB playing for him. His eligibility didn’t happen until after he left and left knowing it was a distinct possibility he wouldn’t play. Newman not playing is rumored to be directly attributed to Kirby and given that Mathis was treated similarly one might raise a question about Kirbys QB room. All 3 highly rated black QBs leaving? A bit sus for the good ole boy from south Ga that used “coaches decision” to keep the walk on good ole boy as a starter over Daniels until he had to play him.

True statement. Fortunately I don’t have a mortgage. One of the benefits of moving up here. I bought this property in 2002 and paid cash. It’s my retirement home and I spent every extra dime getting it ready for the day I stopped working. Unfortunately I had to stop a couple of years ago for medical reasons but the property was ready for us.

I assume by “rumored” you mean that you just made it up on the fly. Newman left because he listened to Quincy Avery, which was a huge error.

Mathis got several opportunities and sucked despite the talent around him.

Fans of SEC programs that lose to BYU and Georgia State should be disqualified from posting on threads like this. Stay on your 3 win team’s threads.

He carried auburn with clutch passes and clutch runs, both leading to crucial points at key moments.

Uga really needed a play like that in 2 games to win 2 championship games vs bama. That’s before even mentioning other issues like refs, bounces, and injuries/ players not playing.

It’s funny that any UT fan would dare offer criticism of a program that has pushed their face in for decades. UT fans - what few of them are left- would crawl over acid coated broken glass to have one half the success UGA has had. We know it.They know it. They just won’t admit it. Don’t know what’s more ridiculous - UT or AU taking shots at a program that owns them. Maybe they should try to work out the massive problems with their team instead of taking shots at an elite program that regularly kicks their teeth in

Is Missouri good at basketball?

Mizzou has been to lots of NCAA's but never a Final Four

Georgia has been to the top but less successful in getting the hardware

No one gives a damn about Missouri basketball or Football - or any other sport they attempt to play. Worst thing the SEC ever did was allowing them and A&M into the conference.

Georgia is a good program. They're not elite. They haven't won a natty since 1980. That should tell you alot.

...then they haven't been to the top, lol. At least not in my lifetime they haven't. They came close once, but they still didn't reach the top. They fell and tumbled down mt everest before they reached the pinnacle. So, they've gotten close once, but haven't won anything of significance on a national level. Uga is slightly lower than oregon on a national level based on what they've actually done. Oregon made the natty once too and made numerous bcs bowl games (some they won, some they lost). They actually gave auburn a hell of a game in the natty, but lost on the last play of the game on a game winning fg as time expired after a miraculous play by michael dyer...so they also haven't reached the top, like uga.

Y’all dont look like you are enjoying yourselves very much when UGA is giving you your annual butt kicking. I’ve seen a lot of sad disappointed faces leaving those games. Wouldnt Missouri be happier in another conference that they could actually compete in? Seriously! There is nothing SEC about Missouri

Georgia is the greatest football program to ever exist on the planet, anyone who argues otherwise is wrong, all those national championships, all those big game wins, all those clutch moments, the best!

This is a bit ingenious or you really are young.

Auburn is a good football team but had the genetic misfortune to be in the same state as Alabama. In WBB, Georgia and LSU have at least 10 Final Fours between them but they had the misfortune to get there at the same time Tennessee has a coach named Pat Summit. Georgia football had to deal with the SEC (notably Alabama and Georgia Tech) and Florida after Charlie Pell. I am no fan of the Bumbles but they have 4 National Championships in 4 different eras with 4 different coaches.

To use your mountaineering analogy ...

Sir Edmund Hillary reached the top of Mt Everest and is still known throughout the world for the feat. He had 3 sherpas with him and I bet 1 in 1,000 could name 1 of them and 1 in 1,000,000 could name all 3.

Alabama = Sir Edmund
Georgia = Sherpa nobody knows the name of

Damn. Y'all are far from it. Meanwhile, Bama has won numerous national titles, LSU has won 3 and played in another, Florida has won 3, and auburn has won 1 and made another. Y'all haven't even won 1 natty in over 40 years now. Lol, nobody can stop y'all from dreaming big i guess, but you don't think that the rest of us are doing the same? The only difference is that we have all been there and done that numerous times, and uga keeps talking shite without having done it at all.

Wtf are you even talking about dude? Idk shite about mt everest and who's climbed it, lol. I was just using that analogy to say uga has never won a national title in over 40 years and it doesn't matter that they came close once bc other teams have come close without winning it as well. Uga has only won 2 titles in their entire history and none in over 40 fricking years.

I could be 40 fricking years old and uga still wouldn't have won a natty in my lifetime. Meanwhile Bama has won numerous, lsu has won 3 (all since 2003, which makes it even more impressive) and made it to another, florida has won 3, auburn won 1 and made it to another, and tennessee has even won one since then. What the frick are u talking about? I said uga was a good program, but aren't elite. And that's the truth. Do u believe uga is a better program than Bama, lsu, florida, auburn, and tennessee? I will tell you for a fact that they aren't better than Bama, lsu, florida, or tennessee all time or in my lifetime. Based on national titles, they are tied with auburn with 2 all time and the rest of the programs I named have more than uga...and all of the teams I listed have won national titles since uga has last won one. What are u arguing? Uga isn't a premier football program based on their accomplishments, they're a good program.

U want to bring up uga having to compete with alabama florida and georgia tech (lol ga tech? Whatever). Lsu has had it's success playing in the sec west, the best conference in college football for how many years running now, and against bama with saban, auburn when they were really good, and florida with urban meyer whom we play every year. Oh yeah, we also have played uga how many times in the sec title game and kicked the dog shite out of them in the georgia dome for the sec title?...we have played them 4 times and absolutely blown them out 3 times and lost once. Yet lsu has won 2 national titles in the timeframe since saban got to bama, while playing all of these programs and made it to another title game and lost to Nick saban and bama after beating them earlier in the season at their home field. Oh yeah, lsu has also blown kirby out every time we have played him badly. I say again...uga is a GOOD program, not ELITE.

Now, shut the frick up donnie, you're out of you're element.

UGA will win a NC a long time before LSU ever does again. The hammer is coming down on your program and it’s gonna be really really bad.
Georgia has finally passed Bama in talent. We have been declared the team with the most talented players in the country and with current recruiting it’s only getting better. But until Saban retires it’s going to be hard to get past the Tide. Saban is the GOAT and UGA and the other programs are looking forward to the day he decides to hang it up. Georgia has come close - should have beaten them twice - but that football genius was the difference. I like Saban. He works hard and deserves all his success. But I and many others will be very happy the day we hear he is retiring. May it be soon.
