Dak is usually playing behind the chains because of a penalties. 14 penalties in a game is not ideal.
The guard Connor Williams is trash.

Not saying they didn’t struggle at times against a good SF DL but Dak can’t read Blitz’s and doesn’t know how to step up and get the ball out quicker.
Dudes supposed to be a dual threat QB that doesn’t run. He isn’t good enough to be a drop back passer without running at all.
But when he does run it’s with 14 seconds left and doesn’t even hand the ball to the ref then is happy Cowboy fans threw stuff at the refs. No sir they should be throwing stuff at Dak for not knowing the rules or how much time was left in the game.

Joe Burrow has as many playoff wins as Dak. Just saying.

Just think what Mahomes is doing in KC. It's really sickening to see the money given to Dak. He never earned top tier money. Hasn't done crap.

IT was rat poison for the cowboys to run up the score on backups......

Bingo.....yesterday he should have run the ball more.(planned).
Sure he could get hurt but you could get beat if you don't take advantage of his ability.

Dak is good, his numbers shows that.
The better question is look at his contract compared to your list? For what he is getting paid, and results, yes you can more for you buck with those other on your list.

Personally I like the guy. How can you not? But he's not called Dak Romo for no reason.

Sheeting on Dak after that arse whooping is intellectually lazy.
14 penalties
SFO got pressure and contained the run only rushing 4
Cowboys D could not get off the field on 3rd down

Is Dak even a top 15 QB?
It's the wrong question. At an average of $40 million a year, is Dak a Top-15 VALUE at QB ? The answer is a resounding NO. Lets examine QBs by salary, to compare, via SPOTRAC. Contracts are complicated - so lets just look at their 2022 cap hit number. There are other ways to judge - I'll be glad to discuss them - this just seems as easy a number as any.
Dak's cap hit for 2022 is $34.5 million, 8th highest in the league. You can have Patrick Mahomes for $36 million, or Russell Wilson for $37 million. On no planet not populated by Mississippi State fans constantly down-voting anyone who besmirches the reputation of Saint Dak are those two options not the better play.
I'll continue in another post, in the interest of TL;DNR.

Still no apology from him. Dak is trash.

So - we've found two QBs - Wilson and Mahomes - that are definitely better values for just about the same money as Dak.
Let's be fair - there are higher paid QBs that are no better, FOR THE VALUE. Matt Ryan is the highest paid guy next year ... at $48.5 million. I'm not arguing is Matt Ryan better - I'm saying, flat out, I wouldn't pay an extra $14 million dollars for him. The value is not there.
Aaron Rogers is interesting - he costs $46.5 million. At $12 million more next year - we can have an honest discussion that he might be worth it over Dak. But it doesn't matter, Dallas doesn't have that money. They're already $20 million over the projected cap next year. They can't afford Rogers.

Aaron Rogers wins Super Bowls if he had Daks’ weapons

So lets wrap this all up - here's some other guys that are definitely better values than Dak, at his $36.5 million hit next year - besides Mahomes and Wilson;
Jimmy Garropolo - $27 million. Dallas could take that extra $9.5 million and buy a right tackle. The $15+ million they're spending on Collins isn't working.
Lamar Jackson - $23 million. One makes chicken salad out of chicken shite. And the other makes $36.5 million in Dallas.
Derek Carr - $20 million. Again, not arguing if he's better than Dak. Arguing that I could spend an extra $16.5 million on another player that would make Carr look better than Dak.
Tom Brady - $18.5 million. Somebody from Starkville will down-vote this post. I'd like to sit at a card table with that person. It wouldn't be gambling - it would be taking.
Josh Allen - $16.5 million. One of these players is on track to be in the Super Bowl. The other makes $36.5 million next year.
I'll stop now. Nine different options, all with obviously better value than Dak Prescott next year. And I haven't even listed Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow.
Dallas can't get out of this contract fast enough.

Mahomes is 7-2 in the playoffs so far.

You act like Dallas can just go out and pick up these QBs for their listed price tags. I’m not sure that’s the case.
Dak’s contract is a result of Dallas desperately needing a QB and not having any options at the time.
They are going to be in the exact same spot when they drop him. They are desperate for a QB that can overcome the organization’s dysfunction and shitty coaching, and thats going to cost them.
They are going to have to pay either way. They need to make the decision if Dak’s their guy or not, but they aren’t getting this mythical discount superbowl QB that people keep bringing up.

Dallas doesn't have a SuperBowl quarterback now. They have Dak Prescott - at $34.5 million next year. By comparison - the Chargers have Justin Herbert for $7.25 million. Both won the same number of playoff games this year - one just has a better arm, younger, and hasn't destroyed an ankle.
Now - stop talking out of your arse. Dallas COULD HAVE moved on from Prescott, when he was turning down $25 million a year offers from the Cowboys, and signed Brady at the time. But no - they chose to pay double for half the QB.
It doesn't make it any less stupid - just because you're paying double for a QB from Mississippi State.
