Is College Football In A Death Spiral?

This topic is much more complex than what teams are constantly winning/match ups/etc.

Attendance for high school football games is way down and it is not because of bad match ups or a few teams dominating the sport. This will ultimately impact college football attendance. We are becoming a more homogenous
nation, regional differences are slowly disapearing & with that the rivalries & the emotions that fuel them.

People/kids have more options for entertainment now. It is much easier to stay home or hang out with friends and keep up with games on whatever device b/c almost every sporting event is easily accessible. I don't think t.v./device CFB viewership is down??

I could go on but...TLDNR

I think a major contributing factor is the offense that everyone runs now. There are a seemingly unlimited number of black QBs that can run the RPO offense somewhat decently. There are plenty of black receivers and running backs that are fast and can catch. That’s pretty much all you need now to hold your own against anybody.

When a WR can effectively carry out the duties of QB, you create mass parity, because there are tons of fast black guys out there.

Which part of the RPO is best suited to wide receivers playing QB?
