Exactly. Glad someone from Auburn can admit there's a problem.

One might even argue we had 3 bad years in a row. 2 of those were under Tubbs though and the one under Chizik was the class he had one month to throw together after getting hired. So that is partially on Tubbs, partially on Chiz and partially just the result of changing the HC at that time.

Auburn wasn't top 10 when they played LSU that year? Maybe I'm thinking of another year.
Or maybe they collapsed after we played?

They were an example of shitty preseason polls...it was an unearned Top 10 ranking. And they collapsed bigtime afterwards.

Stop being so stupid. It doesn't matter what the rank was when you played, but what kind of team you beat that year overall.

For example, in 2000 Bama lost to UCLA in their first game. I'm pretty sure Bama was ranked #2 (maybe even #1?) just prior to that season opening game. UCLA won.

Oooooooooooh! Look at that! UCLA beat #2 Bama! Right?

Problem is, that team ended up 3-8 on the year. UCLA didn't beat jack shite.

So take your bucket of fail and get the frick back to the Tiger Rant with the rest of your fellow tards.

By the way, I just looked up the 2008 LSU depth chart for the team that went 8-5.

12 seniors (compared to 5 for AU this year)

12 returning starter (compared to 4 for AU this year)

Moral defeat?

Sometimes you play poorly and barely come away with a win...UT says "hi"

Didn't it take a miracle 4th quarter comeback as well. Also, don't forget getting dominated by Ole Miss.

Impossible...the refs and media hate lsu. Just ask them they'll tell you all about it.

Actually you don't have to ask...they'll still tell you all about it.

I didn't watch the game live but a bunch of my friends go to Troy and were either at the game or watched it. They told me it was the so obvious the refs were just calling crap. One of the recorded it and I watched it later on and they were right. Ridiculous PI and holding calls and a ton of no-calls on LSU.
