Once he hosts a few BBQs and reels in some kids that can actually play bball (these guys he has now are awful), he will do OK. I hate the guy, but give him time and he will succeed. Might do it illegally, but he'll succeed.
The most overrated coach in America is Donovan. Pastner is only 12 so he doesn't count.

kind of like an ohio state fan talking smack about pearl's morality when your football and basketball program have both been on probation in the last 10 years and your current football coach is universally viewed as a piece of shite

He does have some X's and O's coaching strengths, for instance baseline out of bounds or BLOBS are pretty good under Pearl. The fact is Kentucky is bigger, better and more talented than Auburn.
Somehow, Auburn has won some decent games this year and has competed in a few others. Wins over LSU, UGA and Xavier look pretty good for an undersized hodge podge of a team to me. Come back in 2020 and let us know how Pearl is doing.

pearl has a buyout that makes it pretty tough fof him to leave. i believe it is 5 million until 2017 and then it goes down by a million a year until 2020 or 2021

it is laughable that you accuse pearl of being dirty when your username is dedicated to a coch who got Youngstown state on probation and had numerous violations covered up at ohio state before finally being caught and receiving his own show cause

I believe he's overrated. Nothing special as an Xs and Os guy and not a great player development guy.
Elite recruiter and motivator though. I think pretty clearly the 3rd best coach in the league behind Cal and Billy.

Well according to everyone here on the rant LSU basketball is NOT back, so that win at LSU really is not so good after all!!!
I love the rant, when LSU is considered on the decline and not that good, everyone makes fun, but if someone beats them, LSU is suddenly a good win for them. People you can't have it both ways, it's either one way or the other!!!
