You guys broke out the wood on Sunday, didn't you? Forget the score, but didn't Alabama have 7-8 runs on Sunday?

I'm going to the Friday and Saturday games, weather permitting. This will be my first trip to Alex Box, I'm looking forward to it.

Come check me out at the RV. Enjoy the visit to The Box. Hopefully, the weather is going to be good this upcoming weekend.

Nope, we are not good. As much as I hate it, it's just straight up truth. I'm not expecting a series win.

Well, one of us kicks the ball around every game will probably be 1-0.

I'll be too busy paying attention to real baseball (meaning the major league) to notice.

Yeah, they do. Most college players use aluminum bats. So do kids who play tee-ball.

I'm so glad this thread is actually filled with level headed bama fans who give LSU a little credit in other sports even if you are our daddy in football lol

That's the thing. If you don't assume the Finebaum Show is an accurate representation of the Alabama fanbase then you'd realize we're a level headed down to earth fanbase. Granted, we're arrogant as s### when it comes to football but not that obnoxious overall. There IS a difference between obnoxious and arrogant btw We're loaded with the latter.

Actually very impressed with how LSU (and Auburn for that matter) has stepped it up in both softball and gymnastics. LSU has been doing it a little longer in both sports than Auburn but both schools are now elite in both sports. You're both still 6 national championships and about 30 Super 6 appearances behind Bama (in gymnastics) and several WCWS appearances behind Bama in softball but you're an elite program in both.

As for baseball, if you can score 3 or 4 runs every game this weekend you have a great shot at a sweep. Our pitching is pretty stout but our situational hitting is horrendous. We STILL struggle to score runs.

Grilled Nutt is probably better than frozen Nutt:

They're sports that LSU only recently caught and passed Alabama in. LSU also eliminated Alabama at the WCWS last year. And golf has won a title since Alabama did.

The common denominator in all this is that golf, tennis, softball, and gymnastics all have had either new facilities built or renovated existing ones.

LSU is at or near the top facilities-wise in these sports.

Nowadays, If we can win one it's a huge accomplishment.

With the current schollie setup Bama should not be a threat to LSU baseball within 7 or 8 runs. LSU should take this opp to get some young players some experience.

In all fairness, we can't say shite. Softball just lost two of three down there and gymnastics got beat bad down there in the last month.
And we'll be lucky to get out of BR with a win this weekend.
