Is Arkansas the worst P5 basketball team over the past 23 years?

I kinda think it's between Nebraska, Arkansas and Northwestern.

Arkansas hasn't been to the second weekend of the tournament since 1996. That's freaking incredible.

Penn State and Ole Miss have done better.

Goodness.

If you had told someone in 1996 that it would be at least the 2020s before Arkansas sniffed the Sweet 16 again, no one would have believed you. That's an unreal stat.

Just a theory...but when Memphis is good (Calapari days and it seems Penny is recruiting well now) I think this derails Arkansas on maybe one or two players.

Arkansans can look it up but am I completely off my rocker? Doesn’t Arkansas recruit Memphis pretty hard?

Thank goodness for our Final Four run or else we would definitely be in the running for that title.

And yet, the players Mizzou is recruiting were alive the last time Mizzou made the second weekend of the tournament.

No one on this arkansas team was even alive the last time Arky was in the sweet 16. Just let that settle in.

In truth, i would like you to be decent at basketball but I'm not getting my hopes up.

My guess on whats coming is the Chad Morris of basketball. Whoever that is.
