Nah. We are still too uneven to beat a top team. For once our talent level isn't abysmal but we have an unsteady HC and an OC that more than half of our fanbase worships but has called bad game after bad game for a couple of weeks.

We might raise the blood pressure of Vols fans for a half but we are doomed to self destruct.

We will almost ruin their season but we will fumble or throw it away. Same song different verse

I am not looking past Arkansas all it takes is 1 bad game to ruin a season.
I expect nothing less than a dog fight in this game.

You expect more than us. lol! Honestly it could go either way. I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s a close game for another Pittman moral victory

If the Hawgs can avoid turning the ball over they could be a tough out.

When they stop turning it over let me know, not expecting that to end anytime soon.

Defense is an issue.

What have you seen that makes you think otherwise? It’s year five and Pittmans best year was with Chad Morris’s players. Let that sink in.

Arkansas has serious issues at QB, OL, lack of pass rush from the DL, lack of depth at WR and a secondary that gives up big plays. They turn the ball over a lot and they have a lot of penalties.

Doesn’t sound like a lot of hope there for the Hogs. Is that a coaching thing directly or the disadvantage of recruiting?

I think they're going to ruin somebody's season, and it could very well be Tennessee.

Since the first half of the osu game it seems defenses have broke the code on the Petrino offense.

Unless he makes adjustments to help protect the qb we won’t be a big threat offensively.

The defense is doing better than I expected.

I have no clue what will happen Saturday.

But other than that, are they pretty good?

Watch DJ Williams on 4th and 5. Defenses have not broke the code. Green has wideouts wide arse open but he’s not going through progressions because he dont have time. When he does have time, he feels like he don’t. It’s Armstrong or bust for him for the most part. But if you watch film, Petrino is dialing it up. We just need better protection and a better qb

It is a problem of using the portal too much and getting a lot of bad players. Arkansas currently has 39 portal players on the team and that is way too many.

The top 10 teams in the nation like Alabama based on the depth charts has only 13 players from the portal. Georgia has 14 and Tennessee has 18. Penn State has 13. Miami has 22 and Oregon has over 30. Missouri has 31 and Michigan has 15. Texas has 17 and Ohio State has 16. You see where I'm getting at with this? The more portal players will have on your team, the more shitty your team will be.

Arkansas is in a continuous cycle of trading mediocre players for mediocre players or just bad players for bad players. They can't compete like that much less be an average program in the SEC. The worst part is Arkansas and that won't be the only one is not able to compete with those top programs that I mentioned in NIL.

Coaching is another problem by itself but it is the portal that is hurting programs like Arkansas and NIL just keeps widening the gap with the bigger programs in the nation.
