Unfortunately he was not. Matt Jones was there 01-04. DMac and Felix were both 05-07.
Offense would have been amazing had Matt Jones came around a couple years later. Although, I’m sure Nutt would’ve gone 7-5 regardless of the talent.

I’m just saying Montana took a beating in the 80s-90s. I don’t believe Brees would have had an 18 year career in that era.

Brees would have gotten crushed in the 80s-90s just like Montana did. Brees is a great qb but nowhere near as great as Marino.
Fran was mobile in a similar way Archie was.

Lets be real, if Brees played in Marino's era, he wouldn't last a decade. If Marino plays in Brees' era, he's throwing for 60 TDS and 6k yards annually.
Not to mentioned Brees played most of his career in a dome as well in a warm weather division. Marino played outdoors while in the same division as the Bills, Jets, Pats, Colts.
